Beginning Recorder Lessons Offered

We are very excited that Martha Buck will be offering a Beginning Recorder class starting in January.  This is a great way to introduce your child to music.

 

For: Children ages 9 and up

Cost: $32 per child (siblings are $16 beginning with the second child)

Dates: Jan 13, Jan 27, Feb 10, Feb 24

Time: 10 to 11am

Where: Washington Street Church of Christ, Fayetteville, TN

 

This class is part of the Riverside Homeschool Umbrella Co-op.  In the co-op, you are able to pick and choose what classes your child will participate in.  You are not obligated to the entire morning.  We do ask parents to stay on the premesis while their child is in class and help in some way during co-op hours.  Please see Patti Hunt for details.  RHUP families pay a $5 registration fee to cover facility use and other expenses with having classes.  Non-RHUP families pay a $10 registration fee.

 

Martha Buck has a passion for music.  She has her B.A. in flute and an MS in education.  She taught in public schools for 25 years and she has taught private lessons for 20 years.  She has expereience performing with orchestra, opera, small ensembles, church, etc. with both for-profit and non profit organizations.

 

Deadline to sign up and pay for this class is Dec 9.  Martha needs a number by then so she knows how many recorders to order.
